Observance of the 60th Anniversary of the Nanking Massacre
January 1998
One of the museum's primary goals is to educate our community, even on the more painful aspects of history. During the memorial service in recognition of this near-forgotten holocaust, several speakers, ranging from history professors and community leaders to reverends, gave lectures on the historical context surrounding this event, and chanted prayers. An exhibit paid tribute to Massacre victims through photographs and documents.
